Interests
What I'm into outside of work.
Self-Hosting and Homelabbing
Running local infrastructure across Debian servers, Arch Linux, and a dedicated NAS. I spend spare cycles orchestrating containerized services, experimenting with local AI deployments, and refining private network architecture.
High-Fidelity Audio and Vinyl
Collecting physical records across progressive rock, alternative, and roots Americana alongside fine-tuning digital audio chains. Listening setups prioritize clean playback, dedicated headphone amplification, and lossless streaming.
Horology and Mechanical Craft
Drawn to the intersection of precision engineering, industrial design, and tactical craft. This shows up whether examining mechanical watch movements or building custom mechanical keyboards with tuned plates and switches.
Chicago Sports
A Chicago fan through and through, from the United Center to Soldier Field, plus the Fighting Illini from my undergrad days in Champaign.
